I've been busy a-card making ;o)

Inspiration has come to stay at my house, I'm pleased to say :D! I've also made an inspiration box, with paper and stamps that I haven't used yet or don't use very often, because all I do is make Magnolia cards ;o). This way, I have to make some cards with my Inky Antics, Stamping Bella, Rakle and other stamps that are lying here neglected and sad ;o). The Rakle and Inky Antics cards are from the box, and two Magnolias for balance! (hey, I can't go cold turkey okay ;o))

This is Peonie Pamela, so named because she can always find the most beautiful peonies on her father's land :D. Her father is a prince, with a castle and lots of land, and Pamela lives there with him, her stepmother and two stepsisters, Cruella and Ursula. The sisters are jealous because Pamela is the prettiest and the smartest, and thus can always find ways to escape from them when they want to pester her ;o). Her stepmother is really very sweet, and it's for her that Pamela picks the most beautiful peonies every day :D!

And this is Farmer Frances :D Frances is addicted to the TV show "Farmer wants a Wife", and it is her goal to participate in the program herself and find her dream prince...eh...farmer ;o). That's why she's helping out on Farmer Jack's farm, but oh dear, it's such hard work, all day long! She has to take a break every once in a while, sitting on a bale of hay and wondering if this was such a good idea...only time will tell ;o)

And what do you think of my new signature? :D I saw this on Lauren's blog (see "Get Inspired"), and went to the site where you can make your own signature click here, for free :D! We like free don't we ;o)

Boxes and boxes and cards, oh my ;o)

Gotta love those little boxes, they're such fun to give away, filled with home-made fudge :D! Also gratefully received, which is always nice ;o). I've made myself useful in this first week of unemployment, and besides job hunting I've forced myself (*LOL*) to relax from time to time and make a card :D. Here they are:

This card was made from a workshop

I made another card this morning, spent a lot of time on it and when it was finished...I didn't like it. Took off the reusable items and threw the rest away. I'm sure I can't be the only one who's ever done that, but boy, was it frustrating!

Rakle-licious :D

I know I know, you're asking me "This Chatterbox paper, AGAIN?" But I cannot put it down, it's got a hold over me and I keep thinking of different layouts as soon as I see it...magical, no? ;o) I promise that the next card will have different paper...but I can't promise it won't be Chatterbox :-p.

There is now a new series of Rakle stamps, quite as cute as the first! Check out Scrapmagasinet or, if you live in the Netherlands, Card Art sells them as well!

Materials used: Rakle stamp, Chatterbox "Foyer" paper, Prima flowers, 3 Bugs in a Rug rub-on text, O'Scrap buttons, QuicKutz label

Pink and black and panic...

This is Perky Pinkerton, Pinky's little sister ;o), and she haaaaates pink! Unfortunately she gets all her sister's cast-offs and instead of wearing the really cool new black trainers she now has to wear her sister's pink ones...aaargh! She's even had to change her surname to Pinkerton because it was just easier with school and everything, but she acually wanted to keep the surname Black! She thinks it's all really unfair and swears she will get her revenge someday...maybe she'll dye Pinky's hair orange or something ;o)

I suddenly realised that the Christmas cards can go out this weekend, and I didn't have nearly enough! Which resulted in a panic-Christmas-card-making-session, all with the same paper and everything but using different stamps:

Angel Gabriƫlla makes sure that you can always find your hats and scarf when you really need them, and of course that your hair still looks fabulous after you take your hat off ;o)

Angel Junia tries to give everyone in the whole world a white Christmas, where possible (Australia...not so possible ;o)). She doesn't succeed every year unfortunately...do you know how hard a snow dance is? ;o)

Angel Michaela lights up the dark days before Christmas, as well as the ones after that. The best cure for winter depression is the pink light from her lantern ;o)

Angel Paula brings wonderful treats to people who haven't been able to get them themselves, for whatever reason...she doesn't have to stand in line at Tesco's, she just gets them from the Heavenly Bakery ;o)!

And here's another Rakle card, also a fabulous stamp:

Materials used: Rusty Pickle Pirate Princess paper, Magnolia stamps, Prima flowers, Doodlebug brads and rub-ons. For the Rakle card: Rusty Pickle Snowflakes & Mittens paper, Rakle stamp, QK alphabet and Prima glitter flower.

Yeeeeah...Rakle :D!

This is my very first Rakle card, and I have to say: I'm smitten! There are such great stamps to choose from, I just didn't know which one to use first ;o) You can buy these stamps from Card Art in the Netherlands, which I'm very pleased about...being a new Rakle addict ;o)
