And of course I didn't sit around and weep (well, not much ;o)) but I got on with some card-making! On another note, as of next Thursday I will be employed again (YAHOOO!), so all in all not a bad week ;o)

Boxes and boxes and cards, oh my ;o)

Gotta love those little boxes, they're such fun to give away, filled with home-made fudge :D! Also gratefully received, which is always nice ;o). I've made myself useful in this first week of unemployment, and besides job hunting I've forced myself (*LOL*) to relax from time to time and make a card :D. Here they are:

I made another card this morning, spent a lot of time on it and when it was finished...I didn't like it. Took off the reusable items and threw the rest away. I'm sure I can't be the only one who's ever done that, but boy, was it frustrating!

Sarah Kay and Lovely Lola ;o)

I made this a couple of weeks ago, but forgot to post it...memory like a sieve ;o) It's another blast from the past, and such a shame that there aren't going to be more of these stamps...but I'll make do with what I have (brave-face-smiley) ;o)

Materials used: Papirloftet stamp, Imaginisce Loves Me paper, High Hopes text stamp, Prima flowers, Making Memories brads, QuicKutz leaf and fasteners die, Doodlebug brads

And here's one from last week, with one of the new Lola stamps from Sugar Nellie (images designed by the talented Rachelle Anne Miller :D!)

Materials used: Sugar Nellie stamp, Making Memories Noteworthy paper, Prima flower, Doodlebug button, rub-ons and brads, Karen Foster scrappers floss, QuicKutz corner die, SU! scallop punch

A nostalgic card ;o)

Who can remember the Holly Hobby dolls from way back when? I had a few of them as a little girl, and these stamps remind me of them :D! A lot of colouring in, that was the most work I think, but I'm very happy with the result ;o). Gotta go now, and make more nostalgic cards!

Materials used: Papirloftet stamp, Imaginisce paper, QuicKutz fasteners and corners, Prima flowers, Doodlebug brads and rub-ons
