Cards!

Here are the cards I've made from the end of October till now...I'm not completely bone idle, you know, just too lazy to update my blog...;o)

Country Cathy loves to dance to country music and is saving up for some cowboy boots to go with her nice cowboy hat :D. Then she can take lessons and become a real cowgirl, and tell her mum she doesn't want to wear frilly dresses and bows in her hair anymore...I'd love to be a fly on the wall when that happens ;) You go Cathy :D!

Put your sunglasses on and meet Sunny Selma! Selma is such a sparkling, sweet and sunny child that her mum takes her to the old folks home every now and again to entertain and cheer up the elderly, who all love her to bits of course. She can dance and sing, and she's always smiling...a regular Shirley Temple ;)

May I introduce you to Gardening Gretha :D! Gretha enters into the "Most Beautiful Garden" competition in her village of Little Flowerbed every year, and as every year she's in fierce competition with her neighbour, Gerda Greenfingers ;). They have a bet amongst themselves that whoever can grow the biggest blooms wins and the loser has to tend the winner's garden for a year! Looks like Gretha is in with a good chance this year, look at the size of those flowers! :O

Well, the competition is over, meet Gerda Greenfingers... Her flowers are as big as Gretha's, so what to do? Well, they have found a solution: their husbands, Barry and Terry, will just have to have a lawn-mowing competition! Whoever can get their grass the shortest and neatest (and believe me, they'll get the tape measures out to check ;)) wins, and the loser not only has to tend the winner's garden, but he also has to buy the first round every time they go to the pub ;)!

Say hello to Forgetful Fiona, whose name says it all really...Fiona forgets what she was going to do within seconds of deciding it, she's a little bit like a goldfish ;). She forgets to do homework projects, to go to the shops for her mum and that she was supposed to go on a playdate... This is a familiar sight, and as soon as her parents see it they swing into action to help Fiona remember what it was that was so important. This time she's put on a scarf and hat, and she'd forgotten that it's not winter yet! ;)

Meet Barbara, a teacher at Little Tikes kindergarten :D. She takes her basket with her to school every day, it contains her lunch and a treat for her little charges. Sometimes she'll hand out lollipops. on another day the basket might have a fun book in it, or some beautiful toadstools Barbara found on her way to school. It's not hard to believe that Miss Barbara is everyone's favourite is it :D!

This is Doubting Debra, and Debra is a bit of a smartypants...she needs to know everything about anything, and even if she's told that the sky is blue and the grass is green, she'll still check on the internet to see if that's true ;). Want to know what it's like to be a know-it-all? Ask Debra, she'll look it up for you (although I don't think she'll need to ;))

Hi Erica from South Africa! I just discovered your blog en dit is wonderlik! Ons praat Afrikaans is Suid Afrika en ek hoop jy kan my verstaan, anders stuur ek dit weer in Engels!

Your colouring technique is incredible! Can you explain how you did the pop-out card?

Stamping hugs from Sunny South Africa!
